JL/JLU Fitment Overview
JL and JLU rear seats have different geometry -- four-door JLU rear bench differs from two-door JL jump seats. Airbag seam placement was updated compared to JK -- never assume JK covers are airbag-safe on a JL. Heated and ventilated seat variants benefit from Cordura fabric, which allows better heat transfer than thick neoprene.
